Scrap metal is one of the primary materials accepted at San Jacinto Recycling Center.

Bring approved metal to our W. Esplanade Avenue facility and our staff can assist with unloading. Separating different metal types before arrival can help make the process faster.

What materials do you accept?

We accept approved scrap metal including copper, aluminum, steel, iron and brass, as well as approved vehicle batteries, certain appliances and commercial or industrial recyclable metal materials.

Do you pay for scrap metal?

No. San Jacinto Recycling Center currently accepts approved scrap metal for recycling but does not purchase or pay for scrap metal.

Do you still accept CRV cans and bottles?

No. CRV beverage-container recycling is no longer offered at San Jacinto Recycling Center.

Do you accept appliances?

Certain appliances containing recyclable metal may be accepted. Appliances containing refrigerants or hazardous components may require special handling, so please call before bringing them.

Can businesses and contractors bring larger loads?

Yes. We work with contractors, property managers, tradespeople and businesses bringing approved larger recycling loads. Calling ahead is recommended.

Do you help unload materials?

Yes. Our staff assists customers with unloading approved recyclable materials at the yard.
